Western Pride FC is a community-focused club which represents the growing Greater Ipswich and Western Corridor of South East Queensland regions in the national second-tier PlayStation(r) 4 NPL Queensland competition. Our club comprises of male and female teams from U13 to seniors, plus a Skills Acquisition Program (SAP) starting at U10s.

The Greater Ipswich Region and surrounding Western Corridor is one of the fastest growing population areas in Australia, with football having the largest participation base compared with any other sport played within this catchment.  This region is renowned for its support of all sport with large crowds being drawn out to support the regional sides that participate at the elite levels.

Western Pride was established in 2012 by Football Ipswich, a unique partnership of the city’s FFA-affiliated clubs Ipswich Knights, Western Spirit, Ipswich City, Springfield United and Colleges United.

These Ipswich clubs came together with a view to create a complete football career pathway for the region’s youth.

Western Pride’s footprint covers over 6,000 active playing members, families and supporters from Ipswich, Brisbane’s western and Centenary suburbs, western Logan, plus an enclave in the inner-western Brisbane suburb of St Lucia.

This footprint is made up of our junior boys and girls catchment clubs which include the members of Football Ipswich plus Queensland Lions, Brisbane Force, Centenary Stormers, Greenbank FC, Teviot Downs Soccer Club, University of Queensland FC (boys), Moggill FC (boys).

Western Pride is supported by Football Federation of Australia, Football Queensland, the Queensland Government, the Ipswich City Council and our sponsors.
